Native İngilizcenin can damarı. "Look up" bakmaktan farklı, "give up" vermekle ilgili değil. Anlamı kelime kelime değil.

Phrasal verb nedir?

Fiil + edat (preposition / particle) kombinasyonu olan ve birlikte tek bir anlam taşıyan yapılar. Örnek: "look up" (sözlükten bakmak) — "look" + "up" toplamı değil, üçüncü bir anlam.

Separable: Nesne araya girer.
"Turn the TV off" ✓

Inseparable: Bütün olarak kullanılır.
"Look forward to it" ✓

Intransitive: Nesne almaz.
"He showed up" ✓
